Downend Round Table Charitable Trust

Our Mission:

At Downend Round Table, we believe in making a positive impact on the lives of those around us and creating a better future for everyone. By working together, we can achieve so much more than we ever could individually. 

Where does the money come from?

We primarily fund raise through two major events each year. The annual fireworks show held at King George V Playing Fields raises significant sums for the charitable trust. In addition, the Santa Sleigh tours the streets of South Glocs, mainly spreading good cheer but also raising a few pounds along the way.

The members of Downend Round Table are supported in running these events by other local clubs, Scouts, Guides & Church Groups as well as the associated 41 Club and Tangent from the Round Table family all come together for the good of the local community.

DRT provides the project and supplier management, expertise and financial management, while the groups provide the people power and the fun to make the events enjoyable for everyone.
